Which dab device is it?

A dab rig is a water pipe for inhaling dab smoke. It resembles an old bong with an enclosed chamber that houses water for cooling vapor, but rather than a bowl to hold flower-like in bongs, a dab pipe has a nail to help with concentration.

What is the dab rig’s function?

For a dab to be taken, the nail of the dab rig will be heated with the torch and then allowed for it to cool to the desired temperature. A cannabis concentrate is then placed inside the nail and the heat vaporizes it. So, these concentrates require a certified technician equipped with proper equipment. They are not able to be made at home.

Solvents have to be removed from extractions to ensure that it is safe to consume, and only a technician licensed in a legal market will know how to do this. Incorrect solvent extraction practices can be dangerous and lead to the release of dangerous fumes, or even explosives.

However, some solvent-free dabs can be made at home using cannabis flowers and simple household tools.
